Ebensburg Newsstand reopened
The Ebensburg Area Business Commission and Main Street Partnership are happy to announce the reopening of the Ebensburg newsstand! “We purchased the building in September of 2005, and shortly after the previous owner closed the newsstand,” said Mona Myatt, Owner. “We feel it is very important in the community and are excited to be able to open it again.” The newsstand has expanded the products it traditionally had offered. In addition to newspapers and magazines, food items such as bagels, egg sandwiches, nachos, hot dogs, and ice cream can be found inside. Coffee and cappuccino are always a favorite, as well as, the lottery machine! The newsstand is also an authorized FedEx shipper. “We decided to add some food and novelty items to the mix in order to attract more people to use our services,” said Myatt. The Ebensburg Newsstand is open Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., and Sundays from 6:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
